Stevenson, Seth. "Enter the Big Cheese: is it Smart to Put Your CEO in Your Ad Campaign?." Slate. 12 Oct. 2009. Slate Magazine. 12 Oct. 2009. http://www.slate.com/id/2232188/

The article listed above is about putting important people such as CEO's in this place in commercials. the author says that there is always a reason for putting someone at that high of a level in a commercial weather it be for glorifying the CEO or trying to get the audiences attention by trying to set apart this commercial from all the rest, it's not just them trying to promote an ongoing campaign its usually them trying to get a new message out. This tactic has long been used and is not anything new. however is now being taken advantage of once more.

I really like the strategy of using important people such as CEO's in commercials. i believe it sets a feeling of trust to the viewers and, businesses such as sprint who have used this to get out what they believe is an important message. and it really does seem to catch my attention a little bit more than another odd cartoon commercial. When the author said that this strategy has been used for quite some time, i could see why.
