Verizon, Ad Council Link Up for Teen PSA Campaign

Mike Shields, "Verizon, Ad Council Link Up for Teen PSA Campaign."Media Week. Sept 18, 2009. Verizon.
This Article is about Verizon putting together a large Ad Campaign over almost all types of media, about the rising concern of digital abuse, or as some call it sexting. The ad Campaign will be titled "That's Not Cool" and will talk about when and where to draw the "Digital Line". The ad Campaign will run across mobile internet, the internet, and also TV. This strategy will get the full attention of the audience intended by running it across the most used media sources. The ads were developed with the US department of Justice and the family violence protection Fund.

I was almost shocked when i read this, because i had no idea how bad cyber bullying and abuse really was. I thought is was really cool that Verizon would go ahead and put together such a large ad campaign for this type of a problem. It shows real responsibility on Verizons part, because they offer all these types of ways to communicate why not try to keep them safe and abuse free. I also liked the campaigns tittle "That's Not Cool" it's nice to see that there keeping with the times even though thats there job.
